Experience

Having over 20 years of Outdoor Education experience and 10 years of running trips internationally and within China, our management team provides a comprehensive package that will deliver the highest quality trip experience for students and educators alike.

The Adventure Company is pioneering new methods and techniques for the 21st Century learner and is an active participant in the definition and design of how young people are educated in the future.

Trip Management and Safety

Our operation assessments meet the highest international standards of wilderness safety organisations, with each ‘Adventure’ having an assessment written for every conceivable outcome.  On request examples of these documents and policy & procedure documents will gladly be provided.

Due to the varied environments, we operate in and the various activities we can offer, there are inherent risks to our programs.  The safety of staff and our clients is the number one consideration to which we operate.

All guides hold a minimum First Aid Certificate, with most holding Wilderness First Aid or higher. In addition, our experienced staff hold group Health & Safety to the highest level and all decisions before and during programs are focused on this goal.

All trips are designed to have alternative options in case of unforeseen situations such as weather, health or logistical issues.  All of these options are carefully planned before any trip internally and with our clients in the planning stages.

Our team of professionally trained & experienced staff are dedicated to providing you and your group with the highest standard of a trip with regular professional development programs run throughout the year and reflection of previously run trips to improve our programs to a higher level to further our level of professionalism.
